about

Alison Walker was the first female voice to be heard reporting on live football for the BBC in the 90's. Since then she has been all over the world covering sport.

She has reported on nine Olympic Games, four Commonwealth Games and two Ryder Cups.

During her time at the BBC, she had an eight year stint presenting the sports news on the flagship news programme Reporting Scotland. She has presented a multitude of sports for the BBC from football, golf, rugby and shinty to badminton, curling and swimming and has been lucky enough to interview hundreds of sports stars from Usain Bolt to Tiger Woods, Michael Phelps and Pele. Interviewing Eve Muirhead after her gold medal success @Beijing2022 is a huge highlight.

Alison works for Olympic Broadcasting as one of only a few Scottish voices on the Worldwide Olympic Channel News and has commentated on numerous Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies. She is also a regular talking sport on BBC Five Live, BBC Radio Scotland, Eurosport, for IMG and Open Radio and The Sports Network in Canada. She has been a mainstay on World Curling TV as a reporter and commentator. As a producer, documentary credits include The Last Stone - the story of the 20th anniversary success of GB's Olympic gold medal winning curling team.

As a live event host, after dinner speaker or voice over artist you won't find anyone more passionate, professional or knowledgeable, whatever the area of business or sport.
